Welcome to the 2023-2024 Skate Lakeshore Season!! If you are receiving this email your skater is registered into one of our programs!!
Here is some helpful information that will make your skaters experience safe and enjoyable!
- Every skater must be wearing a hockey helmet, this is a Skate Canada rule and there are not substitutions!
- Parents who will be going on the ice for P&T must be registered and also must wear a hockey helmet.
- Layering clothing is the best, bulky snow suits or hockey equipment make is more challenging for your skater
- When selecting mittens, the less fuzz the better. Fuzz likes to stick to the ice creating a hazard
- We have a full registration this year and the dressing rooms will be full; we are asking that only one parent go into the dressing room
- When arriving you will be skating on Rink C, we will have a registration table where you can pick up your name tag.
- Once the skater is placed onto the ice, we ask the parents to go and watch from the stands.
- Parents (unless in P&T) are not permitted on the ice. Everyone must be registered with Skate Canada
- The best type of skate to use are ones that lace up, buckles and hard plastic break and make skating a little more challenging!
