How to Become a Sponsor?

Skate Lakeshore is a non-profit organization that provides skating instruction for skaters of all ages. We operate through Skate Canada to provide a fun and educational learning environment to develop our community’s future hockey players and figure skaters. 

In an effort to help with our costs, we are asking our community for sponsorships.  As a thank you for your contribution we are proposing the following:

Group Sponsor

$500.00 (4 available) - Signs will be posted on the ice identifying each group, we have four groups on the ice that identify each of the skills, Balance, Control, Agility and the Fun Zone. Your contribution will be used to assist in the cost of ice to keep the cost of the program affordable.

• Sign located on the ice to identify each group.  This will be displayed during the CanSkate and PreCanskate Sessions

Badge and Ribbon Sponsor

$500 (1 available) - Certificates are given out at the end of each session congratulating the skater on their success.  Your business logo will be on each certificate given out.  Your contribution will help with the purchase expense of the badges and ribbons.

Dressing Room Sponsor

$300.00(4 available) - Door signs are posted during each session indicating what program is in each dressing room.  Your business logo will be placed on one of the dressing rooms each session.  The funds from your donation will be going towards the cost of ice to assist in keeping the programs affordable.

Skate with Santa Sponsor

$200 (5 available) - Skate with Santa has been an annual event for many years.  We invite our families and friends to skate and a visit from Santa is always the main attraction. We give our skaters the opportunity to demonstrate what they have been working on in a show case for all our soloists and Synchro teams.

Banquet Sponsor

$300 (4 available) - At the end of each year we have an awards banquet to celebrate the success of our skaters and gives us the opportunity to thank our volunteers.  We sell tickets at a very small cost to our families.  Your donation will go towards the cost of the banquet.

Award Sponsor

$150 (8 available) -  At the end of the year we award a skater in each group “Skater of the Year” for their session.  Your donation will go towards the cost of the award and a gift for registration for the following season.

General Sponsor

$100 (unlimited) - Your donation will go towards the coaching and ice cost.

Synchro Team Sponsor

$5000 over 5 years (4 available)  - $1000 per year the Lakeshore Synchro Teams have doubled in members over the past 4 years and have skated at various community events and hockey intermissions but require some additional support in order to grow the program further. They also participate in community events such as Stroll the Streets and Sunsplash, in order to help attract attention to our local Belle River businesses.  Your contribution would allow us to secure ice time for team practices, offset uniform costs, & etc.  As a level of security is required for this program to grow, we are inviting sponsors to make a multi-year commitment to ensure the program’s sustainability.

Your contribution will be recognized in the following ways.

• Other recognition as mutually agreed upon.

Session Sponsor

$1000.00 (4 available) - Each sponsorship will be used to support the needs of each of our programs.  Your contribution will be used to assist in the cost of ice.  A sign will be posted in the lobby of the rink welcoming each of our families as they bring their skaters and recognizing you for your contributions. The sessions include our PreCanSkate, Canskate, Junior and StarSkate programs that are offered 3 times per week.
